    Hello sir;

    I know that this is an old video and software, I need to ask you few questions. what software can do the same thing as Visual ++ 2010? The reason is that I want to know what compiler can do the same operation such as open window box, with labels, icon like you are doing right now. It's more easy that way. You open a window, add the icons and labels, and program to it. Do the Visual C++ 2019 can DO the same thing? Thanks

    Respectfully;
    Andy

    label1->Text="Hello World";
    If you forget to change the name it will be whatever the default is.

    very hard to follow, you presume too much and skip through things too quickly. Definitely would NOT recommend.

    Thank you for these tutorials, it's been awhile since I've taken C++, but that was for simple console applications, it was never Visual C++, but that was back in 2007, so I need a little refresher. 🙂  Though this is for Visual Studio 2010 I am able to follow along quite well with Visual Studio Community 2015. 🙂

    My first attempt to learn using Visual Studio was almost 20 years ago. I could not stand the software, so I chose to learn Borland C++ Builder instead. Now, for new software I use SharpDevelop and C#. I thought I will give another chance to Visual C++ and I just installed the C++ 2010 Express. I still can't understand why the code for events is placed into the header file??? SchoolFreeware, are you doing something wrong? I expect our code to be placed into the .cpp file, not in the .h file. The header file should be used for function declarations, not for definitions! Well, back to Borland and SharpDevelop…

    I think trading stocks is way more simple than this stuff, maybe along the lines of trading options in difficulty.  I wish I could maybe learn this technology for what reason I have no idea?  Maybe you should have made a brief description of what all this is for, I'm thinking web design for someone who is going into a business venture or something.  Creating forms for people or robots to fill out? Am I close? I was born too early in life Pre-60's Thx
