Gemma can I use sweetened condensed milk to make the base of the icecream?
I made it, but with chocolate syrup and chocolate chips. Turned out beautiful!
Did strawberry ice cream, and vanilla ice , nice just that the whipping milk in Ireland is max 32% and doesn’t get thick very well in 4minutes as you suggest here.
Instead of mixing up cream, can we just buy a container of whipped cream at the store & add the other ingredients?

Wow, this was easy to make, thank you Gemma! Found this Channel by happy accident. For sure going to hit that subscribe button. The flavors I made were Matcha vanilla swirl and a Mango Dragonfruit vanilla swirl. The only problem I had was with the match and dragonfruit powders. They didn’t mix well, even after I sifted them. They sort of clumped up. Any tips on how to incorporate powders without them clumping? Thanks again for the wonderful content 😁

Hi Gemma, I've made this ice cream before and I love it. But yesterday, I was in a hurry while making the ice cream base. And I accidentally added the condensed milk directly into the cream, before whipping it into soft peaks.
Later, I whipped it and it looked all fine. But after freezing overnight, it was really sweet and doesn't really have the ice cream kinda texture. I messed up real bad I know but is there any way to fix it? Like consistency wise and also taste wise (as it is too sweet tight now). Kindly help
