In my opinion it would be even better if you made a katana-type blade

Can you make a Hidden bamboo blade in japanese style?

The handle is made of bamboo with a cylindrical form honoki wood (magnolia) inside.

The wood is cut in half and the shape of the spot to place the nakago (tang) is hand made to fit precisely to the blade. The set is inserted in the bamboo handle and everything is locked by a mekugi pin.

    It is disassemblable

Isn't glue rather unreliable to insert the tang into the grip? Why not a rivet and then cover that with like wood mastic or something?
